16th Annual Artists’ Homes and Studios

Thirty Participating Artists

The 16th annual self-guided tour of Artists’ homes and studios will take place Saturday, April 30, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 1 noon to 5 p.m.

Come see me at Studio 8 along with my guests, Maya Bohler, Ellen Martin and Susan Harb.

The 2016 Roanoke Open Studios Tour represents the largest number of participating fine artists in our 16-year history. Thirty professional artists representing mediums ranging from mixed media, assemblage, sculpture, painting, drawing, ceramic sculpture, pottery, textiles and photography will be participating in the Tour.

19 member artists are showing this year: Mary Boxley Bullington, Mary Jane Burtch, Stephen Brailo, Meridith Entingh, Eric Fitzpatrick, Elaine Fleck, J. Gail Geer, Ann Glover, Chris Gryder, Gina Louthian Stanley, Max Mitchell, Steve Mitchell, Jamie Nervo, Diane Patton, C. J. Phillips, Ann Trinkle, Nan Mahone Wellborn, Dave Wertz, and Barry Wolf.  

11 guest artists are also showing: Maya Bohler, Susan Harb, William Johnston, Josh Manning, Ellen Martin, John Morgan, Heath Nevergold, Frederick Porter, Kim Sutliff, John Wilson, Margaret Sue Turner Wright.

The 2016 tour features 10 stops, including a variety of working studios and 30 artists. The route covers Raleigh Court, Southwest, South Roanoke, and Southeast studios located in Roanoke Industrial Park.

The Open Studios Tour is FREE and children are welcome!
